• Install, configure, and monitor various network devices and services (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPN, IDS/IPS) in both physical and virtual environments.
• Develop automation to improve efficiency and quality of network and application changes.

• Troubleshoot application and network performance and connectivity issues.

Required qualifications

• 3+ years of firewall (Cisco ASA, Fortinet, Palo Alto) configuration and troubleshooting skills.
• 3+ Linux system administration
• Understands process and configures equipment based off security frameworks (ISO27001; SOC1; SOC2)
• Experience working with network tools (ie. Wireshark, tcpdump, and packet captures)
• Understanding of higher-level network technologies (VPNs, VRF, mGRE tunnels)
• Proficient in multi vendor CLI (Cisco, Fortinet)

• Proficient with scripting/programming languages/multi vendor CLI (Cisco, Fortinet shell, bash, php, perl, ect.)

• Demonstrate great analytic skills, able to independently troubleshoot application and network issues.
• Excellent communication skills and proven ability to work with a range of teams and skill sets

Desired qualifications

• CCNP level knowledge and experience
• CompTIA Security+ training and certification
• Administration of Cisco Nexus and/or Catalyst switches.
• Implementation of network monitoring tools (Solarwinds, Cacti)
